These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Varenel website, customer accounts, products, checkout, and related services.

Varenel is operated by Zhengzhou Naxian Department Store Co., Ltd., registered in Henan Province, People's Republic of China ("Varenel," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our website or placing an order, you agree to comply with these Terms and any policies referenced in them.

If mandatory laws applicable to you provide rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded by these Terms, those rights will continue to apply.

1. Eligibility to Use Our Services

If you have not reached the applicable age of majority, you may use our services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by applicable law.

By using our website or placing an order, you represent that you have the legal capacity required to do so or that the required parent or guardian consent has been obtained.

2. Customer Accounts

Varenel offers Shopify-powered customer accounts.

You may be able to use a customer account to:

  • View order information

  • Manage certain personal details

  • Save eligible addresses

  • Access other account features made available through our store

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and authentication information.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless the activity resulted from circumstances for which you are not legally responsible.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, Varenel, Shopify, our systems, or other users, or where the account is being used unlawfully or in violation of these Terms.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to present our products accurately.

Product pages may include information relating to matters such as:

  • Materials

  • Gold type and karat

  • Stones

  • Dimensions

  • Post length

  • Gauge

  • Threading

  • Fit

  • Product images

  • Available options

Please review the individual product page carefully before ordering or wearing your jewelry.

Because products may be photographed under different lighting conditions and viewed on different screens, the appearance of 14K gold, stones, finishes, and colors may vary slightly from what you see on your device.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colors and details accurately, but we cannot guarantee that every device or screen will reproduce them identically.

Minor variations that are inherent to jewelry, materials, manufacturing, finishing, or photography do not necessarily indicate that a product is defective.

4. Piercing Information and Professional Advice

Information provided by Varenel about earrings, flat backs, post lengths, gauges, piercing placement, comfort, wear, care, or related topics is provided for general informational purposes.

It is not medical advice and should not be treated as a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional or professional piercer.

Individual anatomy, piercing placement, jewelry fit, healing status, sensitivity, and other circumstances vary from person to person.

If you are unsure whether a particular post length, gauge, material, style, or jewelry configuration is appropriate for your piercing, consult a qualified professional piercer or other appropriate professional before use.

For new or healing piercings, follow the aftercare and jewelry recommendations provided by your professional piercer or healthcare professional.

5. Prices and Currency

Prices shown on Varenel may be displayed in different currencies depending on your location, market settings, device, or other store settings.

The currency and final amount applicable to your purchase will be shown during checkout before you submit your order.

Currency conversions may be provided through Shopify, payment providers, or other services and may change over time based on applicable exchange rates.

Your bank, credit card provider, or payment service may apply its own:

  • Currency conversion rate

  • International transaction fee

  • Payment processing fee

  • Other bank or payment-provider charges

Such third-party charges are determined by the relevant provider and are not controlled by Varenel.

We may change product prices at any time before an order is completed.

Price changes do not affect an order after it has been validly accepted, except where required or permitted by applicable law.

6. Taxes and Duties

Applicable taxes, duties, and other charges may be calculated as part of checkout depending on the destination and applicable requirements.

For international orders, applicable import duties and taxes are generally included in the amount calculated at checkout where required under our current shipping arrangements.

If you receive an eligible refund, applicable duties and taxes included in the corresponding amount paid at checkout will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

7. Orders

When you place an order, you agree that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

Submitting an order represents your request to purchase the selected products.

Order confirmations and other automated messages confirm that we have received information relating to your order. To the extent permitted by applicable law, they do not necessarily mean that every part of the order has been finally accepted or can be fulfilled.

Order acceptance and contract formation will be determined in accordance with the applicable checkout process and mandatory law.

We reserve the right, where reasonably necessary and permitted by law, to review, refuse, or cancel an order.

8. When We May Refuse or Cancel an Order

We may refuse, limit, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable

  • Inventory information was incorrect

  • A product or price was displayed incorrectly

  • We identify a material website or system error

  • Payment cannot be authorized or completed

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorized payment activity

  • An order appears materially abnormal or abusive

  • An order violates a purchase limit clearly disclosed for the applicable product or promotion

  • We cannot lawfully ship or sell the product to the requested destination

  • Completing the transaction would violate applicable law or our policies

If we cancel an order after payment has been successfully collected, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.

Where appropriate, we may contact you before cancelling an order to clarify information or offer an alternative solution.

9. Product Availability

Products may become unavailable without notice.

Adding an item to your cart does not reserve inventory.

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may contact you to discuss an available alternative, replacement, partial fulfillment, or refund.

We are not obligated to substitute a product without your agreement where the substitution would materially change the item ordered.

10. Payments

You agree to provide valid payment information and to pay the amount displayed and authorized during checkout.

Payments are processed by Shopify and/or payment providers made available through our checkout.

We do not control every aspect of third-party payment processing.

A payment provider may decline, delay, review, or reverse a transaction in accordance with its own terms, fraud controls, regulatory obligations, or payment rules.

If a payment cannot be completed or authorized, we may be unable to process the corresponding order.

11. Order Changes Before Shipment

If you would like to change an eligible item before your order ships, contact:

Please contact us as soon as possible.

We may be able to update an order before fulfillment progresses, including eligible changes to:

  • Style

  • Size

  • Post length

  • Gauge

  • Other available product options

If the replacement item costs more than the original item, you will need to pay the applicable difference.

If the replacement item costs less, the applicable difference will be refunded to the original payment method.

Changes cannot be guaranteed once fulfillment has begun or the order has shipped.

12. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy.

Our current shipping arrangements include:

  • Free standard shipping worldwide

  • A typical order processing period of 3–5 business days

  • Tracking on shipments

  • Destination-based estimated transit times

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Carrier disruption, customs processing, weather, local delivery conditions, public holidays, peak shipping periods, incorrect address information, and other circumstances may affect delivery.

13. Returns and Exchanges

Returns, order changes, product issues, and refunds are governed by our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Our standard commercial return policy generally provides a 14-day return window beginning on the date you receive your order, subject to eligibility requirements.

Because earrings and piercing jewelry are hygiene-sensitive products, jewelry that has been inserted into a piercing — even briefly — is considered worn and is generally not eligible for a standard return, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Eligible returned jewelry must generally remain:

  • Completely unworn

  • In its original condition

  • With its original packaging and accompanying materials

All returns must be authorized before being sent back.

14. Warranty

Eligible Varenel jewelry is covered by our 2-Year Warranty subject to the applicable warranty conditions and exclusions.

The warranty is intended to cover eligible manufacturing defects.

It does not generally cover matters such as:

  • Lost jewelry or components

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Scratches or ordinary cosmetic changes from wear

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse or improper handling

  • Improper storage or care

  • Unauthorized alterations

  • Repairs performed by unauthorized third parties

Nothing in our commercial warranty limits mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

15. Reviews, Photos, Videos, and Other User Content

Where Varenel allows you to submit reviews, photographs, videos, comments, feedback, or other content ("User Content"), you retain ownership of the content you create.

By voluntarily submitting User Content to Varenel or through a feature made available for Varenel reviews or customer content, you grant Varenel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, format, and communicate that User Content for purposes connected with operating, promoting, and marketing Varenel.

This may include use on:

  • Our website

  • Product pages

  • Email communications

  • Social media

  • Digital advertising

  • Other Varenel-owned or Varenel-managed marketing channels

We may also permit service providers acting on our behalf to process or display User Content where necessary to provide these functions.

This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Varenel.

Unless otherwise stated, the Varenel website and its contents are owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by Varenel.

  • Product descriptions

  • Graphics

  • Layouts

  • Design elements

  • Illustrations

  • Videos

  • Website copy

  • Other creative materials

Applicable trademarks, copyrights, design rights, and other intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners.

You may view and use our website for lawful personal purposes.

Unless authorized by us or permitted by applicable law, you may not reproduce, distribute, republish, sell, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from Varenel website content.

17. Acceptable Use

You may not use our website or services to:

When you visit, interact with, or make a purchase from Varenel, Shopify collects and processes information in connection with providing these services.

Varenel has Shopify Network Intelligence enabled.

As part of Shopify Network Intelligence and related Enhanced Services, Shopify may process information relating to your interactions with Varenel together with information relating to interactions with other Shopify merchants and with Shopify.

These Enhanced Services may support functions such as:

  • More personalized commerce experiences

  • Relevant advertising

  • Analytics and measurement

  • Fraud prevention

  • Security

  • Product and service improvements

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, proceedings may be brought before a competent court having jurisdiction over Zhengzhou Naxian Department Store Co., Ltd..
