When is my payment processed?

Your payment is processed when you complete your order, subject to authorization by your payment provider.

If your payment cannot be authorized or completed, your order may not be successfully placed. In some cases, your bank or payment provider may perform additional verification before approving the transaction.

Payment Didn't Go Through?

Four steps to try next.

A declined payment does not always mean something is wrong with your card. Authorization rules are controlled by your bank or payment provider.

01

Check Your Details

Confirm card details, billing information, available funds, and applicable credit limits.

02

Check With Your Bank

Your bank may have declined the transaction for security, authorization, or verification reasons.

03

Try Another Method

If available, try another supported card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

04

Contact Varenel

Still having trouble? Contact our customer care team and we'll review the information available to us.

When contacting us about a payment issue, include your name and any relevant order information, but never send full card details, security codes, passwords, or one-time authentication codes.

Pending & Duplicate Charges

Sometimes your bank needs a little time.

Why is my payment showing as pending?

A bank or payment provider may temporarily show a transaction as pending while it is being authorized or processed.

A declined or incomplete checkout may also occasionally leave a temporary authorization visible on your account.

These authorizations are controlled by your bank or payment provider and may disappear automatically according to their processing timelines.

I think I was charged twice. What should I do?

First check whether the transactions are marked as completed or pending.

  1. Compare the transactions with your Varenel order confirmation.
  2. Contact your bank if one or more charges remain pending.
  3. If multiple completed charges remain, contact service@varenel.com with your order number.

We'll review the transaction information available to us.

Refunds

Back through the way you paid.

Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

01

Refund Approved

The eligible refund amount is confirmed under our applicable return or order policy.

02

Varenel Processes It

Applicable duties and taxes included in the corresponding checkout payment are included where eligible.

03

Your Provider Posts It

Your bank, card issuer, PayPal, or other provider may require additional time to post the funds.
