2-Year Warranty
Made to stay.
Backed for two years.
At Varenel, our jewelry is made to be worn often and kept for the long run. We stand behind the workmanship of our pieces with a 2-Year Warranty covering eligible manufacturing defects.
Last Updated: August 20, 2026
Coverage begins on the original purchase date and applies worldwide to eligible Varenel purchases.
Coverage
2 Years
From the original purchase date.
What It's For
Manufacturing Defects
Eligible workmanship, construction, threading, component, and setting issues.
Where It Applies
Worldwide
Eligible orders purchased through an official Varenel sales channel.
Eligibility
Original Purchaser
The warranty is not transferable to a subsequent owner.
What We Cover
Made right matters.
The warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects that arise during the applicable warranty period. Coverage depends on our review determining that the issue resulted from manufacturing rather than normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, or another external cause.
Structural Defects
Unexpected structural failure attributable to the way the jewelry was manufactured or constructed.
Connections & Soldering
Eligible failures involving soldered, joined, or connected components resulting from workmanship rather than external force.
Internally Threaded Components
Eligible manufacturing failures involving internally threaded posts, decorative ends, flat backs, or related components.
Faulty Components
Eligible component failures resulting from a manufacturing or assembly issue.
Stone Setting
Stone loss may be covered where our review determines that it resulted from an eligible manufacturing or setting defect.
Cause, Not Just Outcome
Breakage, threading failure, or stone loss is not automatically a manufacturing defect. We review how the issue occurred.

What Isn't Covered
A warranty for workmanship, not everyday wear.
Wear & Warranty
Worn doesn't mean unsupported.
Jewelry that has been inserted into a piercing is generally not eligible for a personal-preference return under our hygiene rules.
But wearing your jewelry does not remove your ability to make a legitimate warranty claim for an eligible manufacturing defect.

Your Warranty Journey

Start by contacting us. We'll review the information available before asking you to send anything back.

Send your order information, a short description, and clear photos where possible.
Initial Review
Once we have the required information, initial review is generally completed within 3–5 business days.
Inspection If Needed
Some issues require more information or physical inspection. We'll tell you exactly what to do next.
Resolution
Approved claims are resolved through repair, replacement, an alternative piece, or refund as appropriate.
3–5 Business Days
Initial review, not a promised completion date.
The 3–5 business day timeframe applies to our initial assessment once we have the information reasonably required to review your claim.
Repair, replacement, inspection, and shipping times vary depending on the specific issue and product availability. We'll provide the relevant next steps after assessment.
How We Make It Right
The solution depends on the piece and the issue.
Our preferred resolution order is generally repair, replacement, an alternative piece, and then refund when no suitable earlier resolution can reasonably be provided.
Repair
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may first arrange for the affected jewelry to be repaired.
Replacement
If repair is not appropriate, we may replace the item with the same product where available.
Alternative Piece
If the original piece is unavailable, we may work with you to select another available piece of the same or reasonably similar value.
Refund
If an appropriate repair, replacement, or alternative cannot reasonably be provided, we may issue an eligible refund.
Not every claim moves through every step. The appropriate resolution depends on technical feasibility, product availability, the nature of the defect, and the circumstances of the claim.
The Warranty Clock
A replacement doesn't restart the two years.
Repairs, replacements, and alternative pieces remain covered only for the balance of the original 2-year warranty period.
In this example, a replacement provided in month 18 has 6 months of the original warranty remaining.
Approved warranty shipping is on us.
If Varenel confirms that an issue is covered by the 2-Year Warranty, we will cover the applicable standard shipping costs required to complete the approved warranty resolution.
This may include authorized return shipping and standard shipment of a repaired or replacement piece where applicable.
Please do not independently send jewelry back or purchase return shipping unless instructed by Varenel. Upgraded or additional shipping services requested by the customer may not be covered unless agreed to in advance.
Warranty Details
The finer points.
Which products are covered?
At this time, the Varenel 2-Year Warranty applies to our standard jewelry products purchased through an official Varenel sales channel.
Proof of purchase may be required to verify the original purchase, purchase date, product, original purchaser, and applicable warranty period.
Is the warranty transferable?
No. The warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is not transferable to a subsequent owner.
If the jewelry was originally purchased as a gift, contact our customer care team with the available original order information so we can review the applicable coverage.
Can I send my jewelry back immediately?
No. Please contact Varenel and receive authorization before sending jewelry back.
If a return is required, our customer care team will provide the applicable instructions and approved return destination.
Packages sent without prior authorization may be refused, delayed, or unable to be properly identified and processed.
Authorized warranty returns may be directed to:

Why might physical inspection be required?
Some warranty claims cannot be determined accurately from photographs alone.
Where reasonably necessary, we may inspect matters such as structural failure, thread condition, component condition, stone setting, signs of impact or deformation, improper installation, or general jewelry condition.
A request for physical inspection does not automatically mean that a warranty claim has been approved.
Are scratches or appearance changes covered?
The warranty does not guarantee that jewelry will remain visually identical to its original condition throughout the warranty period.
Normal cosmetic changes such as minor scratches, surface marks, or changes resulting from ordinary wear are not manufacturing defects.
Varenel's solid gold jewelry does not use a plated surface layer to mimic solid gold, but solid gold can still develop scratches, residue, and normal cosmetic changes through use and environmental exposure.
How long will a repair or replacement take?
Completion time depends on the nature of the issue, whether inspection is required, technical repair feasibility, product availability, destination, and carrier transit times.
For this reason, we do not promise a fixed repair or replacement completion time. Our customer care team will provide relevant timing information after your claim has been assessed.
Does the warranty apply internationally?
Yes. The Varenel 2-Year Warranty applies to eligible purchases through official Varenel sales channels regardless of whether the original order was shipped to the United States or another country or region.
Procedures may vary depending on customer location, shipping availability, carrier services, applicable law, import or export requirements, and the nature of the resolution.
Can a warranty claim be declined?
We may decline a claim where we reasonably determine that the issue is not an eligible manufacturing defect, falls within an exclusion, is outside the warranty period, involves unauthorized alteration or repair, cannot reasonably be verified as an eligible Varenel purchase, or involves materially false or misleading information.
Declining a claim under our commercial warranty does not remove any mandatory consumer rights that may independently apply.
Returns vs. Warranty
Two policies. Two different purposes.
For eligible returns after delivery.
Our Returns & Exchanges Policy covers eligible returns shortly after receiving an order, including certain personal-preference returns where the jewelry remains completely unworn.
For hygiene reasons, insertion into a piercing generally makes an item ineligible for a personal-preference return.
View Returns & Exchanges →For eligible manufacturing defects.
The Warranty Policy covers eligible workmanship and manufacturing issues arising during the applicable warranty period.
Wearing a piece does not by itself prevent a legitimate warranty claim for an eligible manufacturing defect.
Consumer Rights
This warranty is in addition to your mandatory rights.
The Varenel 2-Year Warranty is a commercial warranty provided in addition to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to your purchase.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to limit, exclude, or replace rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods, including rights to repair, replacement, refund, price reduction, or other remedies. Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer right applicable to your purchase, the applicable legal requirement will take precedence.
Warranty Support
Not sure if it's covered? Ask us.
You don't need to decide on your own whether an issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect. Send us the details and we'll review the information available.
Please include your order number, a short description of the issue, when you noticed it, and clear photos wherever possible.
